Transfixed by this enigmatic visage, I awaited until 2011 to immortalize her on canvas. What transpired thereafter was a transcendental evolution, birthing a chronicle of artworks. While this singular figure shape-shifted into myriad forms, her essence, energy, and persona remained resolute, coalescing into the singular entity of the BlueWoman—a multifaceted embodiment of unity and purpose.
Each aspect of her being encodes profound symbolism. The Afro symbolizes ancestral lineage, a testament to her intrinsic identity and values that fortify her essence. The crimson stiletto, an emblem of audacious footsteps, signifies her ardent desire to leave an indelible mark upon the world—a visceral dialogue with Mother Earth beckoning for reciprocity and understanding.
